Everyone else is managing the quests online just fine, you just need to persist, if you can. I have a 40mbps/10mbps connection and have a relatively okay time with the desync, but the netcode issues are present for everyone to varying degrees. How will I report bugs if 99% of the time I have connection problems? If the offline mode had incentives to play it, I'm sure it would find important bugs that could help the developers. So what is it? It's a game? Or is a beta? I'm more than 150 hours online, believe me, I'm not noob. Mi connection quality is my problem? I play other online games perfectly. I have a fiber optic conexion, 300mb up and 300mb down. If you can't play it well yet, improve your connection and/or wait until release for a better optimised experience to see if that is better. Don't expect the developers to change their game to suit you. If people do not have a good enough internet connection then that is their tough luck. There will never be offline quests and eventually the ability to be played offline will be removed entirely. It's right there on their homepage description of the game (see attached picture below post). The whole point of this game is to be played online, quests and all. At the moment it does seem like EFT uses a fair amount of bandwidth, so if there is any optimisation done in this area you may see improved network performance, however, improving your connection may still be the only option. The poor performance of the netcode is BSGs problem, and that will improve with updates until release and beyond. Your connection quality is your problem.
